Job Summary :
The Sales Head will lead the overall sales function of the organization, driving business growth, revenue generation, and client satisfaction in the outdoor advertising domain. This role involves leading the sales team, developing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination with operations for campaign execution.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market.
- Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Understand client business needs and align OOH solutions accordingly.
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the team
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and client markets.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal and client reviews.
- Mentor and support junior account executives / managers.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales operations from lead generation to campaign execution.
- Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure smooth execution and billing processes.
- Monitor revenue performance, sales forecasts, and profitability.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and credit control processes.
- Collaborate on strategic pitches and large-scale media planning.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic insights to management.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in the market.
- Ensure superior client servicing and timely resolution of issues to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets within outdoor and transit advertising
- Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
- Ensure that all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies and ethics codes of conduct.
- Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience :
6 -10+ years of experience in sales management.Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
