Job descriptionConduct risk assessments and identify policy gaps for clients. Manage RFQs (Request for Quotations) and ensure timely turnaround for policies. Business development : Develop and implement strategies to grow the client base and revenue. Relationship management : Act as a key liaison between clients, internal teams, and insurance companies. Compliance and reporting : Provide regular MIS (Management Information System) reports to senior management. Process improvement : Develop and implement new products and solutions. Experience managing the placement and underwriting process. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with insurers and clients. In-depth knowledge of various insurance products and the insurance market. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with industry tools and technologies. Proven track record of meeting business objectives.

A Placement Head JD in insurance broking involvesmanaging relationships with insurance companies, leading the underwriting and placement process to secure competitive quotes, and driving business development. Key responsibilities include developing underwriting strategies, collaborating with sales teams, ensuring compliance, and building a strong book of business for clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Underwriting and placement :
Oversee the process of securing competitive quotes from multiple insurers.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and acquire new business opportunities.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with a wide range of insurers and TPAs (Third-Party Administrators).
Ensure all activities comply with IRDAI regulations and internal policies.
Optimize internal processes related to underwriting, placement, and client service.
