Job Requirements :

Position : State Head - Sales (Kolkata)

Industry : Oil & Gas

CTC : As per Industry Standards

Work Experience : Prefer 10 years of experience in retail sales

Location : Kolkata, West Bengal

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive overall sales strategy and execution for West Bengal & Northeast
  • Take full ownership of regional sales targets and ensure consistent achievement
  • Develop and implement plans to maximize market penetration and secure maximum market share
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team across the region
  • Identify new channel partners, distributors, and business opportunities to expand the footprint
  • Build strong relationships with key channel partners, customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct regular market visits to understand ground realities and support the field team
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities.

Skills Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Persuasion and negotiation expertise
  • Strong knowledge of the retail distribution model and regional market dynamics
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong leadership with strategic, analytical, and result-oriented decision-making skills
