Description
- As part of DWS’ AFC & Compliance function, the global Anti-Fraud, Bribery & Corruption (AFBC) team is inter alia responsible for the design and execution of the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework within DWS related to Risk Types owned by AFC & Compliance within DWS Group globally.
- Furthermore, the team advises and provides training to DWS’ global staff on these matters and interacts regularly with key stakeholders within DWS’ business and infrastructure functions.
- The Third Party Risk Management Specialist reports to the Head of DWS Anti-Fraud, Bribery & Corruption, based in Frankfurt, and is responsible for implementing and performing the global AFC & Compliance specific TPRM activities.
- The AFC & Compliance Associate – Third Party Risk Management Specialist works closely with regional and global AFC & Compliance colleagues, as well as other stakeholders in business divisions and infrastructure functions, particularly from Third Party Management (TPM) and TPRM.

Supporting the implementation and maintenance of AFC & Compliance Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) related processes within DWS globally, including development and alignment of respective policies, procedures, processes, and controls of the respective vendor risk assessmentPerformance of AFC & Compliance specific vendor risk assessments as part of DWS’ global TPRM process as well as performing and documenting respective controlsCoordination with DWS’ global Third Party Management (TPM) and TPRM teams as well as coordination with outsourcing management and the service relationship ownersProvision of TPRM-specific training and advice for Risk Types owned by AFC & Compliance to DWS’ staffSupporting the Head of DWS AFBC in fostering collaboration with global / regional AFC & Compliance colleagues as well as advising stakeholders in business divisions and infrastructure functionsYour skills and experience
A bachelor's degree in finance or equivalentProfessional background of Anti-Financial Crime & Compliance or Vendor / Third Party Risk Management (outsourcing management) and knowledge of respective laws and regulationsWorked in the Banking or Asset Management industry with outsourcing-specific processes, controls and preventative measures, including experience in conducting outsourcing- / vendor-specific risk assessments and developing respective frameworksStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage conflict situations and present complex and sensitive issues to senior management and stakeholdersWorked under a location strategy or change management teamHow we’ll support you
