Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to lead debt collections operations across the region. The ideal candidate will bring over 14 years of proven expertise in collections management across digital, contact centre, and field operations. This individual will be responsible for end-to-end collections performance, team leadership, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities :
1. Collections Strategy & Execution :
- Develop and implement robust regional debt collection strategies across all channels (digital, contact centre, and field).
- Drive performance metrics including recovery rates, delinquency ratios, and cost-to-collect.
2. Team Leadership & Operational Oversight :
Lead and manage large teams including field collection agents, contact centre executives, and digital operations.Monitor productivity and provide coaching, performance feedback, and escalation support.3. Client Relationship Management :
Maintain and grow strategic relationships with existing clients.Act as a key point of contact for client escalations, performance reviews, and business planning.4. Compliance & Risk Management :
Ensure adherence to regulatory norms, internal policies, and audit requirements.Monitor risk indicators and proactively address potential compliance or reputational issues.5. Technology & Process Improvement :
Collaborate with product and technology teams to enhance collection tools and platforms.Identify opportunities for automation, digital outreach, and data-driven decision-making.Key Requirements :
Experience : Minimum 14 years of experience in debt collections, with leadership experience in managing large, multi-channel teams.Expertise : Strong understanding of collections across unsecured and secured loan products.Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage P&L.Communication : Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and client-handling skills.Tech-Savvy : Familiarity with digital collection tools, CRMs, dialers, and analytics platforms.(ref : iimjobs.com)
