We are hiring for the role of Business Analyst / Functional Consultant for one of our government clients based out of Delhi.
This will be a full-time on-site role (5 days from Office)
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Prepare and maintain detailed documents such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Use Cases, and User Stories.
- Support in drafting Concept Notes, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), RFPs, RFQs, and Technical Evaluation Criteria.
- Review requirements, user stories, functional specs, UAT coordination.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
- Document business processes, workflows, and functional specifications.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and technical requirements for development teams.
- Document AS-IS and TO-BE business process workflows using standard tools (e.g., BPMN).
- Perform gap analysis between current systems and desired digital solutions.
- Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and recommend process reengineering approaches
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Support project planning, monitoring, and execution across various initiatives.
- Coordinate with developers, QA teams, and end-users to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to support business analysis and performance monitoring.
- Maintain a central repository of business requirements and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and risk assessments to guide decision making.
Qualification & Experience :
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role and should have successfully delivered at least 1 project.Candidates having qualifications or experience in the financial domain will be given preference.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SWOT analysis, process mapping).Experience with documentation tools such as MS Office, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), especially Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications :
