BDO India LLP - Business Analyst / Functional Consultant

We are hiring for the role of Business Analyst / Functional Consultant for one of our government clients based out of Delhi.

This will be a full-time on-site role (5 days from Office)

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Prepare and maintain detailed documents such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Use Cases, and User Stories.
• Support in drafting Concept Notes, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), RFPs, RFQs, and Technical Evaluation Criteria.
• Review requirements, user stories, functional specs, UAT coordination.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
• Document business processes, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and technical requirements for development teams.
• Document AS-IS and TO-BE business process workflows using standard tools (e.g., BPMN).
• Perform gap analysis between current systems and desired digital solutions.
• Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and recommend process reengineering approaches
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Support project planning, monitoring, and execution across various initiatives.
• Coordinate with developers, QA teams, and end-users to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Prepare reports and dashboards to support business analysis and performance monitoring.
• Maintain a central repository of business requirements and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and risk assessments to guide decision making.
