Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager / Business Development Associate (BDA) located in Chennai. The role involves driving stall bookings, exhibitor acquisition, sponsorship sales, and client relationship management for our trade fairs and events.
The Sales Manager / BDA will be responsible for :
Identifying and connecting with potential exhibitors, sponsors, and corporate clients
Generating new business through client meetings, networking, and cold calling
Building long-term relationships with industry stakeholders
Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets for stall bookings and sponsorships
Representing the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, and client meetings
Maintaining CRM records and preparing sales reports
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
2–6 years of experience in B2B sales, exhibitions, events, advertising, or corporate business development
Strong negotiation, closing, and client acquisition skills
Excellent communication in English and Tamil (Hindi is an added advantage)
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Good organizational and time management skills
Willingness to travel for client meetings and events
