The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for a high-rise building project. The role requires close coordination with the project team to ensure timely progress tracking, resource monitoring, and preparation of periodic progress reports for management and client review.

Responsibility
- Maintain baseline project schedules in MS Project (or Primavera, if required) aligned with contract requirements and approved construction methodology.
- Prepare and update schedules / look-ahead programmes to ensure effective short-term planning and coordination.
- Track and monitor daily site progress against planned activities, identifying delays or deviations and reporting critical issues.
- Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports, Weekly Progress Reports, Monthly Progress Reports (with narratives, charts, and S-curves), and Monthly Programme.
- Monitor resource deployment (labour, plant, and materials) against planned requirements and highlight shortages or overutilization.
- Conduct periodic variance analysis between planned vs actual progress and recommend corrective measures.
- Assist in preparing recovery schedules and mitigation plans in case of slippages.
- Coordinate with site execution teams, subcontractors, and management to resolve planning and scheduling-related issues.
- Support in contractual claims preparation related to delays and disruptions, if required.
- Monitor programme on a daily basis with corresponding daily revenue tracking.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering .5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring of high-rise building projects .Strong proficiency in MS Project ;knowledge of Primavera P6 will be an added advantage.
Hands-on experience in micro schedule development, resource monitoring, and progress reporting.Familiarity with contract requirements, project controls, and construction methodologies.Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.Skills Required
MS Project expertise (mandatory).Excellent skills in preparing structured reports and presentations.Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization for progress monitoring.Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams under strict timelines.
