Global Markets Group is the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley's Sales & Trading businesses in India. It covers functions across IED ranging from those associated with sales, trading, analytics, strats to risk management.

Primary Responsibilities

Delta one trading is one of the biggest risk-taking desks in equities trading. Traders on this desk act as a market-makers (non HFT) and offer various liquidity offerings to clients on a discretionary and systematic basis.

The role is within systematic trading arm of delta one where key aspects of the role combines broad market understanding, knowledge of market impact models, risk models and portfolio construction. We are looking for proactive, self-starting individual to be part of our India team working with EMEA Cash Trading Strats team. This is a challenging role and offering exposure to an interesting, dynamic product group and work environment to build your career in.

Responsibilities for this role would involve :

• Creating pricing services.
• Managing and maintaining a large and complicated technical environment.
• Web development to allow for simple display of metrics & analytics.
• Building Tools / Apps to analyze and spot anomalies in a complex & multidimensional marketplace.
• Back-testing of various ideas and methodologies to manage long / short equity and futures portfolios.
• Alpha Research.
• Regular communication with team members in London and Paris.

Skills required (essential)

We are looking to hire both first class technicians / technologists and those with a deep knowledge of financial markets and Alpha research. You will have either or preferably both skillsets :
