Specific accountabilities :
Understand, identify and define customer needs
Transform the high-level vision of the Product Manager into detailed requirements, working closely with a range of stakeholders for the product, including non-customer stakeholders such as finance, security, operations, support, audit, and others.Consolidate and articulate business needs into new product concepts or upgrades, and interact with Epic owners and Product Managers to develop features affecting the team backlog.As cross functional managers, POs need to be able to see how and where systems and processes that affect product success can be improved. Are Marketing / Sales working efficiently WRT the product plans / goals; are Services / Support in synch etc. The flow from concept to development to market should be as frictionless as possible. Product Owner plays a key role in making this happen.Contribute to the product vision and roadmap
Define and continuously develop the product vision & the business value in line with the business owners, product managers, SAFe ART Product Management, other Product Owners & agile teamsCommunicate and evangelize customers & teams on product vision and roadmap, share product knowledge and ensure mutual understanding of the businessSupport the product features definition (scoping)
With the support of the Agile team, lead the definition and prioritization of the Features, based on customer needs and value, to deliver based on market and business needsConsider and prioritize amongst all Features the enabler work and sequence the architectural runway in collaboration with Architects / EngineeringCollaborate with the System Architect and R&D to ensure the good priorization of EnablersCollaborate with other teams across the group to ensure coherent prioritization, product alignment, marketing and user experience across various ARTs / Products / Groups. This includes (but is not limited to) Business Owners, SAFe ART Product Management, other POs, PMKs, UX, other groups, SAFe RTEs and ArchitectsManage, prioritize and communicate the flow of work
Ensure the features and user stories backlogs are reprioritized before each release and sprint planning sessionConstantly align and communicate with respective agile counterparts and leadership teamDo sufficient analysis to ensure requirements are ready to be worked onDocument, analyze, trace, prioritize and agree on requirements and then control change and communicate to relevant stakeholdersWork closely with delivery teams to ensure they build the right functionality in a timely mannerIs involved with ongoing testing effortsParticipate to Agile events
