Inviting applications for the role of Domain Trainee / Management Trainee- Accounts Receivable & Intercompany
Responsibilities :
Cash Application & Matching - Process and apply insurance cash receipts accurately against policies, claims, and broker statements
Collections Management - Drive timely collection of premiums and recoveries, coordinating with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams
Dispute Resolution - Investigate and resolve cash application discrepancies, unallocated cash, and aged items through proactive follow-up
Delinquency Tracking - Monitor and report overdue balances, initiating escalation or remediation actions to minimize aged receivables
Cash Clean-up & Reconciliation - Perform periodic reconciliations of accounts, ensuring ledger accuracy and clearing of unmatched items
Intercompany Accounting - Manage end-to-end intercompany accounting, settlements, and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate balance clearance
Month-End Close Activities - Support AR close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of reporting schedules.
Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation opportunities to enhance accuracy and turnaround time.
Minimum Qualifications :
Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate
Relevant years of experience in managing Insurance Credit Control activities
Experience in working with Oracle and AR tools would be added advantage
Experience in working with an insurance client is must
Preferred Skill Set :
Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative
Strong time management skills
Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
