Inviting applications for the role of Workday Functional - Senior Principal Consultant
In this role, you will be responsible for project management activities for a Workday HCM project which requires knowledge and understanding of the HCM modules. Moreover, awareness of the integrations and coordination with multiple teams is expected.
Responsibilities
- . Engage with clients to gather requirements and document critical decisions.
- . Manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design through testing and deployment.
- . Based on specialization, translate client business requirements into specific Workday configurations (Business process, Security, Notifications) for HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Absence, or other modules.
- . Work directly with clients to analyze and document problems, recommend solutions, initiate corrective actions.
- . Prepare test scenario & test cases and execute test cases in different testing cycles.
- . Guide clients during testing cycles and prototype development.
- . Coach and mentor new and junior consultants in best practices.
- . Be open to working on both implementation and post-production support projects.
- . Manages multiple, parallel projects using exceptional organizational and time management techniques to successfully complete tasks in a timely manner
- . Communicate clearly and concisely. Collaborate effectively and synergistically within designated teams
- . Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
- . Perform Design Validation and identify areas of improvement
- . Suggest and improve business processes
- . Prepare Training Material, SOPs etc for Workday processes.
- . Conduct workshops, trainings, and knowledge transfer sessions with clients
- . Keep up to date with Workday releases and new features, and provide guidance to clients on how to take advantage of them
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
. BE / MBA / M.Tech. Experience in Workday HCM Implementation and SupportPreferred Qualifications / Skills
. Strong functional knowledge of at least one Workday HCM module, such as Core HCM, Compensation, Adv. Compensation, Absence Management, Talent Management, Recruiting / Onboarding, Learning Management, or Time Tracking. Experience in configuring Workday HCM modules to meet client requirements. Commanding knowledge in HR domain and Business Process Flows.. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and technical teams. Good understanding of HR processes and practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
