The Role : Chief People Officer Location : India

This senior executive will be responsible for providing leadership in developing a comprehensive People and Human Capital strategy, culture implementation, and policy in support of the business and strategic direction of the company. Key areas will include talent transformation, competitive talent development, succession planning, change management, organizational and performance management, developing and implementing best practices, processes and systems, learning and development and total rewards / benefits. This individual will serve as a brand ambassador for the company in our market.
The detailed responsibilities include :
- Develop, implement, and cultivate a robust a HR and talent development and transformation plan that aligns with the overall mission and strategy of the organization, resulting in innovative and best practices that will service the full range of organization’s needs and help build a high-performing competitive culture of success, accountability, transparency and collaboration.
- Be responsible for creating world class talent experiences with existing and prospective talent pools.
- Responsible for providing vision our global workforce / talent and navigate them to rapidly changing AI-driven world
- Act as a strategic business partner to all senior executive members to drive changes and provide insightful, innovative thinking and problem solving on critical HR issues.
- Digitization and modernization of HR function / team, processes and activities aligned toward achieving strategic objectives.
- Provide guidance on special projects, analytics and reporting, talent transformation, training, change management, organizational design, compensation, and other related activities that advance the People agenda of the business
- Establish and implement short- and long-range HR goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
- Partnering with groups in cyclical processes such as annual compensation, performance management, succession management, sentiment measuring and action planning
- Collaborating with other HR team members on issues that are cross functional and cross business in nature.
Role Requirements and Qualifications :
MBA / Masters in Human Resources, Human Capital Management, or related fieldDeep experience managing an onshore and offshore modelStrong ability to working within software engineering and IT services companies with experience and depth in dealing with AI.Demonstrated experience in public speaking, board-level interactions and corporate brand representation.15+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5-7 years of leadership experience.Experience interfacing with senior business leaders and working independently.Capability in all major HR disciplines including, but not limited to, talent management, succession planning, organizational design, recruiting, compensation, learning and development, and employee relations.Proven record of effectively operating at both a strategic and tactical level.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and diverse issues effectively.Experience in strategic planning, process management and execution.Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment, wage and salary laws and regulations.Knowledge of organizational development theory and practices.Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.Knowledge of information systems used in human resources applications.Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.Global team management experience.
