Role Purpose :
The Associate - People will manage the People (Human Resource) function, supporting NeoGreen’s HR strategy and initiatives, while being guided and mentored by senior leadership. This role will mainly involve executing core people management activities like recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, performance management, and HR administration activities. The role will contribute to building a strong talent base, encouraging a high-performance culture, and supporting organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities :
A. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Undertake and own end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate pipelines, and documentation.
- Support employer branding initiatives to attract talent.
- Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
B. Employee Engagement & Culture
Assist in implementing employee engagement activities and programmes.Support initiatives for employee training and development.Facilitate communication of HR policies and updates.Collect and analyze employee feedback from time to time.C. Performance Management
Execute and support leadership in managing appraisal cycles, goal tracking, and OKRs.Maintain performance records and ensure timely documentation and communication.Provide insights and support for employee development and recognition initiatives.D. HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain HR records, databases, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.Support payroll coordination and statutory compliance processes.Ensure adherence to labour laws and HR best practices.Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.Prepare basic HR reports and dashboards for leadership review.Qualifications :
Degree or diploma or certification in Human Resource Management is mandatory.An engineering / science graduate degree is advantageous.Experience :
1 to 3 years of HR generalist experience.Prior experience working in a startup-like scaling environment is advantageous.Required Skills :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Understanding of end-to-end recruitment, HR administration, and employee lifecycle management.Familiarity with labour law compliance and statutory requirements.Good command over English and Kannada; knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.Proficiency in HR tools, MS Office, and online recruitment platforms (, job portals).Strong organizational and documentation skills.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle multiple HR functions simultaneously.Behavioral Competencies :
