Job descriptionBachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field . Minimum 1 year of experience in BOS contracting / procurement (solar industry experience preferred). Understanding of solar EPC procurement processes and project timelines. Strong vendor management and negotiation skills. Familiarity with contract terms, billing, and compliance requirements . Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Senior Executive – Procurement (BOS Contracting) with at least 1 year of experience in Balance of System (BOS) contracting . The role involves vendor management, contract finalization and procurement of BOS components and services essential for solar EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of BOS items and services , including structures, cables, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, and civil / electrical works.
- Identify, evaluate and finalize vendors / subcontractors for BOS packages.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, comparative statements and purchase orders .
- Negotiate terms on cost, quality and timelines with vendors / contractors.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to align procurement with project requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules and contract compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation and reports for procurement activities.
Requirements
exposure to ERP systemsis an advantage.
