Job Title : Inside Sales Representative - Lending Solutions (LOS & LMS)

The Opportunity :
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Inside Sales Representative with direct experience or a strong understanding of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS). In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in driving new business development, primarily through proactive outbound engagement and effective qualification of inbound leads. You will leverage your domain knowledge to engage with prospects, articulate the value of our lending solutions, and contribute directly to our revenue growth.
Responsibilities :
- Lead Generation & Qualification :
- Proactively identify, research, and target new business opportunities within the financial services sector (banks, NBFCs, credit unions, fintechs) through outbound calls, email campaigns, and social selling.
- Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing activities, conducting initial needs assessments to determine fit and potential.
- Product Knowledge & Value Articulation (Lending Domain) :
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS) features, functionalities, and integration capabilities.
- Articulate the value proposition of our solutions, focusing on how they address specific pain points in the loan lifecycle (e.G., faster processing, reduced manual errors, improved compliance, better customer experience in origination, efficient servicing, effective collections).
- Understand key lending processes such as application intake, credit scoring, underwriting, decisioning, disbursement, payment processing, collections, and reporting.
- Pipeline Management :
- Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline, meticulously tracking all activities, communications, and progress in the CRM system (e.G., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Ensure timely follow-ups and progression of leads through the sales funnel.
- Prospect Engagement :
- Conduct effective introductory calls and online meetings to engage prospects, understand their current lending technology stack, and identify their immediate and long-term needs.
- Provide high-level product overviews and initial demonstrations to pique prospect interest.
- Collaboration & Handover :
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development Managers / Field Sales team for seamless handover of qualified opportunities.
- Work with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Liaise with Presales / Solutions Architects for technical insights as needed during initial discussions.
- Sales Targets & Reporting :
- Consistently strive to meet and exceed individual and team sales quotas.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience (typically 3-8 years) in an Inside Sales, Business Development Representative (BDR), or Sales Development Representative (SDR) role, preferably within the software, SaaS, or FinTech industry.Strong understanding or direct experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and / or Loan Management Systems (LMS) is highly preferred.Familiarity with the lending lifecycle and key processes (e.G., application, underwriting, servicing, collections).Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident and engaging phone presence.Strong active listening skills and ability to ask probing questions to uncover needs.Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven with a strong work ethic.Proficiency in using CRM software (e.G., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in the financial services sector (e.G., banking, NBFC, credit union).Prior experience selling B2B software solutions.Knowledge of specific regulatory requirements in lending (e.G., RBI guidelines).
