Responsibilities
- Collaborate with government agencies such as district collectorate , local municipal corporations, local Panchayats, Urban Development and revenue departments to secure clearances and approvals.
- Manage land-related disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and negotiations, to ensure timely resolution.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of land revenue records, mutation entries, and title deeds in coordination with legal teams.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and secure necessary approvals from environmental agencies for land use.
- Coordinate with DILR, engineering and consulting firms for land surveys, feasibility studies, and infrastructure planning.
- Maintain and update land revenue records, including mutation, conversion, and ownership verification.
- Resolve land disputes, encroachments, and facilitate legal documentation
- Ensure timely submission and accuracy of land-related documents and reports
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing land revenue, including leasing, licensing, and other revenue-generating activities.
- Lead land acquisition processes, ensuring compliance with state and central land revenue laws, including the Land Acquisition Act, 2013.
- Monitor and manage risks associated with land acquisition and revenue, ensuring alignment with Adani's risk management framework.
- Provide expert advice on land revenue matters to internal stakeholders, including the Corporate Affairs and Legal teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with local communities and non-governmental organizations to address concerns related to land acquisition and usage.
Qualifications
Educational Background :
Bachelor's degree in Law, or a related field (mandatory).Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or Infrastructure Management (added advantage).Experience (KPIs) :
At least 10 years of experience in land revenue management, mutation processes with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.Demonstrated expertise in managing regulatory compliance and stakeholder relationships.Skills Required
