We are seeking a skilled Siting Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise during the sales process by conducting wind and site statistical modeling and optimizing wind turbine layouts . This role is crucial for ensuring that our projects meet performance standards and that turbine designs are validated through load calculations. You will be a key contributor in a fast-paced, global environment, providing technical support and maintaining project processes for customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Wind & Site Analysis : Perform wind and site statistical modeling and analyses to determine wind resource and site characteristics.
- Layout Design : Develop and optimize wind turbine site layouts and configurations based on power production, construction considerations, and conformance with industry standards.
- Load Assessment : Verify wind turbine design life by performing detailed load calculations .
- Sales & Project Support : Maintain sales and project processes by preparing technical and commercial responses for customers, consultants, and colleagues.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering ; a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is highly desired.Proven experience in wind resource assessment and sales support.Fluent in written and spoken English.Experience with industry-specific software like WAsP and windPRO is a significant advantage.A certification in a foreign language (e.g., German, Spanish, Danish, Chinese) is a plus.Competencies
