Job descriptionCompany Description Bloom Food Additives Pvt Ltd is a manufacturer of bakery ingredients and food solutions products, providing leading products for both food businesses and retail consumers. Located in Kolkata, the company focuses on delivering high-quality solutions specifically designed to meet industry standards and customer demands. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager - NPD (New Product Development), Quality Assurance & Quality Control at our Kolkata facility. The General Manager will oversee daily operations related to new product development, quality assurance, and quality control. Responsibilities include managing product lifecycle from conceptualization to market launch, ensuring product quality and compliance with regulatory standards, leading QA / QC teams, conducting regular audits, and developing standard operating procedures to enhance productivity and quality. Qualifications Experience in New Product Development (NPD) and understanding of product lifecycle management Strong Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills to ensure product safety and compliance Leadership and team management skills to supervise NPD, QA, and QC teams effectively Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field;
advanced degree is a plus Experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable
