Workday Techno-Functional Consultant - Perm

About the Role
We’re looking for a Workday Techno-Functional Consultant to take ownership of configuration, integration, and continuous improvement across the Workday platform.
This is a hands-on role that bridges technical expertise and functional knowledge, supporting the full hire-to-retire lifecycle while driving enhancements across HCM, Time & Absence, and Payroll modules.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both Workday configuration and system integrations , excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for improving user experience and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Workday lifecycle — from implementation through continuous support and optimization.
- Configure and enhance Workday HCM, Time & Absence, and Payroll modules, ensuring scalability and compliance.
- Partner with HR, People Engineering, and business leaders to translate functional needs into technical solutions .
- Develop and maintain business processes, calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and security groups .
- Lead or support integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, and APIs , ensuring data accuracy and seamless connectivity.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Learning, and Performance modules.
- Perform system health checks , monitor tenant performance, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Tier-1 and cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements and resolve user issues efficiently.
- Contribute to ongoing platform governance, documentation, and knowledge sharing initiatives.
Skills & Experience
5+ years’ hands-on experience in Workday configuration and support.Strong understanding of Workday HCM , including business processes, reporting, calculated fields, and security.Experience with Time & Absence configuration (complex accruals, cascading leaves, automated adjustments).Payroll knowledge , including earnings, deductions, posting rules, and third-party integrations.Practical experience with Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Public APIs).Ability to diagnose and resolve functional and technical issues across multiple modules.Deep understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements .Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Workday Certification / Workday PRO preferred.Why Join Us
