Job descriptionProgramming : Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs Database : SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL (strong in query debugging and optimization) Operating Systems : Linux / Unix (shell scripting knowledge preferred) Messaging Systems : Kafka / IBM MQ / RabbitMQ Monitoring Tools : Splunk, AppDynamics, ELK Stack, Grafana, CloudWatch Version Control & Build Tools : Git, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket Incident & Ticketing Tools : ServiceNow, JIRA Cloud Platforms : AWS / GCP (preferred) Other : Experience with microservices, CI / CD, and log debugging Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure in 24x7 business-critical production environments. Strong coordination and collaboration skills with global teams. Financial domain knowledge (especially in trade lifecycle, settlements, or risk management) is a plus.
Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L2 / L3 production support for complex Java-based enterprise applications running on Linux environments.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, middleware, and infrastructure-related issues with a focus on root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high application availability and performance.
- Participate in incident management, change management, and problem management processes as per ITIL standards.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline monitoring, log analysis, and recovery tasks.
- Work on bug fixes, minor enhancements, and code-level debugging in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL.
- Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or ELK.
- Support batch processes, job scheduling, and messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, or RabbitMQ).
- Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and operational standards.
