Job descriptionResearch fabrics, trims, and accessories; curate swatch books for seasonal collections. Plan and execute merchandise assortment strategies, ensuring a balance of design innovation and commercial viability. Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to inform design and merchandising decisions. Support pricing, costing, and margin planning in coordination with the business team. Deep understanding of menswear fabrics and luxury suitings. Awareness of interlinings, canvassing, and tailoring techniques. Knowledge of bespoke and MTM workflow — from measurement to fittings to delivery. Partner with stores for client consultations and trunk shows. Assist in visual merchandising, styling shoots, and store displays. Work closely with marketing on storytelling around collections and bespoke experiences. Degree / Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or Apparel Merchandising from a recognised design institute (NIFT, Pearl, Parsons, etc.). 3–4 years of hands-on experience in menswear design and merchandising, with exposure to formalwear (suits, blazers, shirts). Prior experience working with formal menswear brands and manufacturing setups. Strong knowledge of tailoring, fit, garment construction, and bespoke / MtM processes. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel for creating moodboards, presentations, specs, and tech packs. Ability to manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to final sample. Strong communication and presentation skills to liaise with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
