About the Job :
Cortex is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AEM Administrator to join our team, working exclusively for a key product client located in Chennai. We're looking for individuals with a strong background in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) administration and a knack for integrating it with DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the seamless operation, maintenance, and performance of our client's AEM environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- AEM Operations : Manage and maintain AEM environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and stability. This includes daily monitoring, health checks, and troubleshooting of AEM instances (author and publish).
- Deployment & CI / CD : Administer and optimize the CI / CD pipeline for AEM applications. . You'll work with tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Git to automate builds, testing, and deployments, ensuring a smooth and efficient release process.
- DevOps Integration : Combine your AEM expertise with DevOps methodologies. This involves using tools for configuration management, infrastructure as code, and containerization (e.g., Docker) to streamline AEM operations.
- Environment Management : Configure and manage AEM environments across different stages (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod). This includes managing user permissions, replication agents, dispatcher configurations, and OSGi bundles.
- Troubleshooting : Act as the primary point of contact for AEM-related issues. You'll diagnose and resolve complex problems related to performance, security, and application functionality.
- Security : Implement and enforce security best practices for AEM environments, including user and group management, SSL configurations, and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaboration : Work closely with development, quality assurance, and project management teams to support AEM projects from initial setup to production deployment.
Required Skills & Experience :
Work Experience : 4 to 8 years of total experience in IT, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to AEM administration.
Technical Skills :
AEM Administration : Strong hands-on experience with AEM operations, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.CI / CD : Proficiency in setting up and managing CI / CD pipelines for AEM using tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Git.DevOps : Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience with related tools. A profile with a strong AEM DevOps Admin background is highly preferred.Scripting : Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation tasks.Operating Systems : Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.Soft Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Additional Details :
