Job Title : Financial Accountant

Eton Solutions' Financial Accountant will be responsible for implementing new funds into the AtlasFive platform and managing day-to-day fund activities, coordinating with internal resources and external stakeholders.

About This Role

• This position requires knowledge on alternative investments such as private equity, hedge funds, real estate funds.
• The successful candidate will implement fund structures into the accounting system.
• They will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and validating daily activity to ensure accuracy and timeliness in calculations and processing.
• General ledger exceptions review, cause identification, and necessary adjustments are also part of this role.
• The accountant will calculate income and expense accruals (management fees), securities pricing at current market value.
• Broker, custodian, bank, and investment manager statements reconciliation is another key task.
• Accounting services, maintenance of financial books and records are also essential duties.
• Daily purchases and sales settlement, correct recording of dividends and interests are required.
• The accountant will calculate and record dividend and distribution payments to the transfer agent.
• Capital calls / distributions report preparation for client distribution is also necessary.
• Investment, Accounting, and Capital book reconciliations are regular tasks.
• Weekly, monthly, quarterly Net Asset Value calculation (NAV) is a key responsibility.
• Capital statements preparation / validation, distribution to clients is also required.
