Location : Mumbai (Andheri E) – Work from Office | 5-day workweek
About the Role
As the Sr. Account Director – BD & CS, you will represent Gobananas as the key point of contact for clients. You will manage coordination between clients, internal teams (Production, Content, Design, Finance), and external agency partners. From the initial client interaction to the successful execution of an event, you will ensure seamless project management and deliver a high-quality, enriching experience.
This role combines servicing existing accounts with networking and generating new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Client Servicing & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business.
- Proactively engage clients for briefs on recurring events and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Network and prospect for new clients / brands to drive business growth through cold calls, meetings, and presentations.
- Decode client briefs and collaborate with internal teams to create tailored, creative solutions.
- Present proposals to clients, negotiate terms, and close deals.
Event Execution & Operations
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of event elements, including creatives, set designs, and artwork.Oversee show execution, ensuring the smooth flow of events and production quality.Ensure the completion of Payment Advice (PA) in coordination with the production team and invoicing with the finance team.Monitor payment collections from clients for executed events.Submit detailed Weekly Reports and HOD Meeting Reports.Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills Education
Graduation in any stream (mandatory)Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Mass Media, Advertising, or Event Management (preferred)Experience :10+ years in Client Servicing within the Special Events, Govt Events & BTL (Below-the-Line) industry.Strong network and connections with marketing professionals, brand managers, and decision-makers across corporates and agencies.Skills :Deep understanding of brand objectives and consumer engagement needs.Fair knowledge of event setups and production processes.Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).Proven ability to craft compelling narratives and engage clients in long-term strategic partnerships.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.What We Offer
