Role Description
We are seeking a motivated Merchandiser (Leather Goods) to support our merchandising team. This role involves assisting in product development, sample approvals, vendor coordination, order follow-ups, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in buyer communication regarding samples, approvals, and order details.
- Coordinate with vendors for raw materials (leather, linings, hardware, etc.) and follow up on
timelines.
Support in tracking production schedules and ensuring timely order execution.Work with quality teams to ensure products meet buyer specifications and standards.Assist in preparing reports, trackers, and maintaining merchandising documentation.Stay updated on trends in leather goods and provide inputs for new product development.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Leather Technology / LEATHER ACCESSORIES is a MUST.3–7 years’ experience in merchandising, in leather goods only (bags, small leather goods,accessories, watch straps).
Knowledge of leather materials, finishes, and accessory components.Strong organizational and coordination skills.Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).Good communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and clients.Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Why Join us?
