Krishna Defence is expanding its robotics team to build autonomous ground vehicles and underwater drone platforms for key defence and industrial applications. This is an ideal opportunity for engineers eager for challenging R&D work in a fast-evolving field.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation architectures and navigation systems for unmanned vehicles.
- Develop embedded firmware for microcontrollers and SoC platforms focused on real-time control, sensor integration, and data acquisition.
- Conduct system validation using SIL / HIL testing and support prototype calibration, setup, and field testing.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to define integration requirements and ensure robust system performance.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, technical diagrams, and structured test reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.1–2 years’ experience in R&D roles in robotics, autonomous systems, automotive, or aerospace.Strong foundation in control systems, control algorithms, and automation methodologies.Hands-on experience with navigation sensors (UWB, lasers / LiDARs, IMUs, encoders) for localization, mapping, and perception.Demonstrated exposure to sensor fusion frameworks and multi-sensor data integration.Programming skills in C / C++ and Python, with familiarity in ROS, Gazebo, or Matlab / Simulink.Proficiency in PCB / electronics design using Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.Understanding of hardware interfaces : CAN, I2C, UART, and SPI.Knowledge of SLAM techniques and autonomous navigation concepts.Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.Preferred Experience
Project or industrial work in mobile robotics, underwater systems, UAVs, or autonomous navigation.Experience with RTOS, FPGA-based systems, computer vision, or AI-driven perception.Collaboration experience in multidisciplinary R&D environments.Application Guidance
