Krishna Defence is expanding its robotics team to develop autonomous ground vehicles and underwater drone platforms for key defence and industrial applications. This role focuses on preliminary design development and comprehensive industry research to support next-generation autonomous systems.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive
industry research and competitive analysis
of autonomous systems, emerging technologies, and market trends in robotics and unmanned platforms.
Develop
preliminary system designs
and conceptual architectures for ground and underwater autonomous vehicles, focusing on feasibility studies and early-stage specifications.
Review and evaluate
existing technologies, components, and subsystems to identify optimal solutions for integration into new platform designs.
Support
requirements definition
and technical specification development through detailed research and analysis of industry standards and best practices.
Collaborate with senior engineers to translate research findings into actionable design recommendations and system concepts.
Prepare detailed
technical reports, design documentation
, and research summaries to support decision-making processes.
Participate in
design reviews
and contribute to technology roadmap development based on industry analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in
Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical
, or
Mechanical Engineering
1–2 years' experience
in R&D environments, preferably in robotics, autonomous systems, automotive, or aerospace sectors.
Strong
analytical and research skills
with ability to synthesize complex technical information from multiple sources.
Understanding of
control systems
automation principles
, and
system integration concepts
Knowledge of
navigation sensors
(UWB, lasers / LiDARs, IMUs, encoders) and their applications in autonomous platforms.
Familiarity with
sensor fusion frameworks
and multi-sensor integration approaches.
Proficiency in
technical documentation
CAD software
, and
simulation tools
such as
Matlab / Simulink
ROS
, or
Gazebo
Understanding of
SLAM techniques
autonomous navigation concepts
, and
robotics fundamentals
Strong
communication skills
for presenting research findings and design concepts to technical teams.
Excellent
documentation practices
and attention to detail in technical analysis.
Preferred Experience
Experience in
technology assessment
