Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Techno-Commercial Specialist with strong roots in
the semiconductor / VLSI industry and proven ability to design and deliver customer-
centric solutions. This individual will be responsible for solutioning, pre-sales
engagement, and translating client requirements into impactful upskilling programs.
The role requires a balance of technical expertise and commercial orientation to
support business growth in the semiconductor domain.
Key Responsibilities
Solutioning & Program Development
- Identify and map client workforce development needs in semiconductor, VLSI, and FPGA domains.
- Design end-to-end technical training and skilling solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Collaborate with internal content teams, trainers, and SMEs to ensure programs are technically sound and industry-ready.
Techno-Commercial Engagement
Partner with sales and business development teams to co-create client proposals, RFP responses, and solution pitches.Translate technical expertise into business value propositions for enterprise clients.Support revenue growth by providing technical credibility during client discussions.Conduct competency assessments and prepare ROI-based learning frameworks for clients.Client & Industry Interface
Act as the technical face of the organization for semiconductor-related engagements.Build strong relationships with CXOs, engineering leaders, and L&D stakeholders in client organizations.Stay updated on industry trends (EDA tools, ASIC / FPGA flows, AI / ML hardware, automotive semiconductors, etc.) to advise clients on future skillingrequirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
10+ years in semiconductor industry roles (VLSI design, verification, FPGA prototyping, ASIC design, or SoC development).Experience in solutioning, pre-sales, or techno-commercial roles in semiconductor / electronics domain.Proficiency with EDA tools and semiconductor workflows (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, Xilinx / Intel FPGA toolchains).Ability to understand business challenges and convert them into scalable training solutions.Strong presentation, proposal-building, and client negotiation skills.Preferred Skills
Prior exposure to corporate L&D, workforce transformation, or consulting insemiconductor / electronics industry.
Understanding of business models in B2B upskilling / consulting.Familiarity with contract structuring, commercials, and solution pricing.Exposure to cross-domain trends : RISC-V, automotive semiconductors, AI accelerators, chiplets, IoT / 5G SoCs.Skills Required
