Strategy & Capability | Workforce Safety & Assurance | ABF College | College Coordination Unit
The College Coordination Unit (CCU) is responsible for a range of support functions within the ABF College. They provide a central point of contact and coordination for ABF College requests and coordination activities. CCU provides strategic support and assistance to the ABF College Commander and Superintendents by providing a national view of business support activities and issues through central coordination and consolidation of input from College faculties nationally.
The Coordination Unit has four streams - Business Triage and Coordination, Strategic Communication and Governance, Data and Analytics and Leadership and International.
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated APS 6 officer to join the College Coordination Unit. The position provides a unique and challenging opportunity you for to enhance your corporate, administration and support skills whilst gaining a holistic view of the ABF College.
The successful candidate will be assisting the Business Triage and Coordination team but will also have the opportunity to provide support to the Leadership and International team, therefore experienced leaders with a training background to assist in the development and delivery of the ABF Leadership foundations program are also encouraged to apply.

Supervisors are highly experienced communicators and bring to the ABF College their operational knowledge and experience, and a desire to support the continuing development of the ABF workforce. They must have operational and / or administrative credibility and the ability to influence others by communicating effectively within a training environment. They collaborate with ABF officers at all levels across the College, and broader ABF, ensuring a collaborative and supportive approach is taken at all times to support consistent and high standard of operations across the organisation.
