Senior Integration Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled

Integration Architect

with strong expertise in

IBM API Connect

and

IBM DataPower . The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end integration architecture, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient API solutions. This role involves design, development, administration, and deployment in modern containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement

end-to-end integration architecture

using

IBM API Connect

and

IBM DataPower .

Develop, configure, and administer

API Connect

and

DataPower gateways .

Architect integration solutions leveraging

containerization

(Docker / Kubernetes / Openshift) and

Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) .

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver

high-performance integration solutions .

Ensure solutions adhere to

security, governance, and compliance standards .

Provide guidance, best practices, and mentorship to development teams on API-first strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

8–12 years

of IT experience with a strong focus on integration architecture.

Hands-on expertise in

IBM API Connect

(v10 preferred) and

IBM DataPower

(development & administration).

Strong experience in

containerization technologies

(Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

Experience with

IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) .

Deep understanding of

API lifecycle management , security (OAuth, JWT, TLS, etc.), and microservices architecture.

Strong knowledge of

integration patterns, SOA, REST, SOAP, and event-driven architectures .

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have

Exposure to

DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, Git, CI / CD) .

Experience with

hybrid cloud integration

solutions.

Knowledge of

monitoring & performance tuning

for API and DataPower environments.
