Role Overview
The Manager – Family Office will lead and manage all affairs of Donthi Capital Partners, including investment oversight, coordination with wealth managers, compliance management for the family’s trusts and entities, banking and treasury operations, and strategic support on governance and planning.
This role demands a versatile, trustworthy, and financially astute professional who can operate independently, handle confidential information, and bring structure and insight to a complex, multi-asset, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investment & Wealth Management
Coordinate with external wealth managers, portfolio advisors, private bankers, and investment partners.
Implement and monitor asset allocation as per the Investment Policy Statement (IPS).
Evaluate new opportunities (listed equity, AIFs, PE / VC, real estate, debt) and prepare internal notes.
Track performance, capital calls, and distributions; prepare consolidated investment performance reports.
2. Governance, Compliance & Legal Affairs
Ensure statutory compliance for all family entities (trusts, partnership firms, LLPs, and SPVs).
Liaise with CAs, legal advisors, and company secretaries for filings, audits, and regulatory submissions.
Maintain a compliance tracker and oversee RBI / FEMA, tax, and investment-related documentation.
3. Banking & Treasury Management
Manage relationships with domestic and international banks.
Oversee KYC, account maintenance, fund flows, and liquidity management.
Coordinate cash management, tax outflows, and capital calls.
4. Reporting & Financial Oversight
Prepare quarterly consolidated reports across asset classes and entities.
Present financial dashboards, performance summaries, and compliance status to family principals.
Maintain digital and physical archives for all contracts, deeds, and investment documents.
5. Strategic & Family Affairs Support
Support family governance, inter-generational wealth planning, and philanthropy initiatives.
Coordinate real estate and personal asset management.
Engage with advisors for insurance, estate, and succession planning.
Supervise any operational staff or analysts supporting the family office.

Experience
10–15+ years in wealth management, private banking, investment advisory, family office, or finance leadership roles.
Education
Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA, or MBA (Finance / Wealth Management) preferred.
Expertise
Multi-asset investments, compliance management, coordination with banks, lawyers, and investment managers.
Traits

Other
Exposure to UHNW family offices or multi-family offices will be an added advantage.
