Role & responsibilities
Corporate Governance & Secretarial Duties
Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and other relevant regulations.
Organize, prepare agendas for, and take minutes of Board and shareholder meetings.
Maintain and update statutory registers and records.
File necessary forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
Support the Board on matters of corporate governance and ethical compliance. Licensing & Statutory Compliance (Clinic Operations)
Monitor and manage all licenses and registrations required for veterinary clinic operations, including but not limited to :
Clinical Establishment registrations
Shops & Establishment Act licenses
Biomedical waste and pollution control board compliances
Labor law and municipal health regulations
FDA licensing
PNDT registration for Ultrasound
Serve as the point of contact for all regulatory authorities and ensure timely renewals and inspections.
Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure all clinics meet regulatory deadlines and obligations.
Legal & Risk Management
Liaise with external legal counsel as required for contracts, notices, disputes, etc.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and agreements with vendors, partners, and employees.
