Finance Manager

Role Overview :

Looking for a highly competent and strategic Finance Controller to lead our finance and accounting functions. This role will act as a key business partner to the founders and leadership team, driving financial planning, analysis, and decision support. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial operations, compliance, and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as a business finance partner , working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
• Collaborate directly with founders and department heads to support strategic initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of financial and accounting operations , ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Strengthen and scale FP&A systems, tools, and processes to support business forecasting and planning.
• Develop and implement robust financial strategies, accounting policies, and SOPs .
• Ensure timely monthly and year-end closing of books and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and publish monthly and quarterly financial statements .
• Manage all compliance related to finance, accounts, taxation , and statutory requirements.
• Deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis to guide strategic decisions.
• Monitor and manage cash flows , optimizing working capital.
• Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance across all financial operations.
• Lead financial reviews and provide data-driven recommendations to the leadership team.
• Oversee the finalization of accounts and ensure timely completion of audits .
• Prepare financial documentation and reports for fundraising activities , including liaising with banks and investors .
• Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and provide variance analysis.
• Prepare accurate financial forecasts and report deviations from the plan.
• Leverage advanced MS Excel and FP&A tools to enhance financial modeling and reporting.
