The HR & Operations Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end human resources functions along with certain administrative and operational activities. This includes recruitment, onboarding, performance management, policy formulation, compliance, and contributing to the company's strategic growth and culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative & Operational Management
- Oversee daily HR administration (attendance, leave, payroll coordination, HR records).
- Maintain documentation for employees, freelancers, and contractors.
- Coordinate with finance for payroll and expense reimbursements.
- Ensure office operations run smoothly (if hybrid or physical).
- Handle vendor and service provider coordination (e.g., software subscriptions, office supplies).
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Design and implement hiring plans based on department needs.
- Source, screen, and schedule interviews for in-house and contractual positions.
- Manage job postings on platforms (LinkedIn, Naukri, Upwork, etc.).
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation.
- Maintain a healthy talent pipeline for IT, design, and project management roles.
- Employee Engagement & Performance
- Implement feedback and appraisal systems.
- Develop training and upskilling initiatives for team members.
- Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Monitor productivity, attendance, and overall employee satisfaction.
- Policy, Compliance & Documentation
- Draft and update HR policies, SOPs, and organizational guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and relevant statutory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee data and company information.
- Support leadership in audit readiness and documentation.
- Strategic & Leadership Support
- Partner with management to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Support workforce planning and organizational structuring.
- Contribute insights for improving retention, productivity, and work culture.
- Participate in decision-making on scaling, compensation, and performance metrics.
