Job Summary :
The Human Resources Assistant II is in charge of greeting job candidates and employees that visit the HR front desk at the corporate location. Ensures a positive customer experience for candidates and guests. Answers employee benefit questions and provides leadership for the work of HR interns or temporaries. Provides administrative support to HR managers.
Responsibilities :
Oversees day-to-day operations of HR front desk to provide professional and branded experiences for candidates that are interviewing for a variety of open positions and levels.
Responds to general employee questions regarding benefits enrollment, changes to benefits, benefit coverage, and HR practices / policies.
Supports the benefits department in a variety of activities including data entry and auditing.
Ensures smooth daily operations by maintaining and recommending changes to established policies and procedures.
Leads assigned HR staff by providing daily assignments, direction, training, and follow-up.
Supports the HR management team with general administrative duties including coordinating of schedules, travel, reconciliation of expenses, communications, and other management requests.
Maintains positive open lines of communication with management, staff, and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the HR organization.
Understands the need for appropriate data privacy protections when working with employee data.
5% Performs other duties as assigned.
