Salary : ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stores Officer to manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s stores / warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels, coordinating with purchase and production teams, and maintaining proper documentation. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, equipment, and supplies.

Maintain accurate stock levels by conducting regular inventory checks and reconciliations.

Prepare GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), Issue Slips, and other store-related documentation.

Ensure proper storage practices, labeling, and segregation of materials.

Monitor stock movement and highlight shortages or excess to the management.

Coordinate with the Purchase Department to ensure timely replenishment of stock.

Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards in the store.

Generate periodic reports on stock status, consumption trends, and material requirements.

Support audit processes by providing necessary records and documentation.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related field .

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse operations.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures .

Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and inventory management software .

Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
