SYSTRA India, a leading design team for metros, highways, and urban projects with extensive experience across diverse infrastructure, is seeking a skilled Construction Planner . You'll play a vital role in our station development and ancillary facilities projects, focusing on site planning, scheduling, quantity estimation, and ensuring constructability and safety. This position is perfect for a civil engineer with hands-on experience in major infrastructure construction, ready to contribute to projects that enhance urban efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Policy & Documentation : Review existing Railway policies, manuals, and guidelines. Draft and update railway policies, manuals, guidelines, Construction Methodologies, and Method Statements.
- Planning & Scheduling : Develop comprehensive construction / site planning and scheduling for works related to station development and associated ancillary facilities.
- Estimation & Costing : Perform quantity estimation and costing for proposed Railway stations, including civil and steel structures.
- Design Review : Review Station Master Plans, Tender Stage drawings, Civil drawings, and Structure drawings specifically in terms of constructability and safety .
- Research & Development : Conduct R&D works related to station development, including commercial development aspects.
- Standards & Compliance : Apply knowledge of guidelines related to railways / station development such such as MSSR, NBC, IS codes related to Construction, Safety, Health and Environment, CPWD specifications, and Indian / State / Local Body laws related to Construction, Safety, Health, Environment, and Workers' Welfare.
Profile / Skills
Education : Bachelor of Civil Engineering.Experience : 5 years of post-qualification experience, with proven experience in the construction of Railway stations, Metro, or Airport projects.Software Proficiency : Mandatory proficiency in the use of software specifically used in Construction Planning (e.g., MS Project & Primavera P6 ).Skills Required
