Senior Project Planner

Technical Skills

• Demonstrable capability in Project Scheduling, and proven skills in the use of Primavera P6 / Microsoft / other planning products (e.g. Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, Microsoft Project).
• Advanced knowledge of the philosophies, principals, practices techniques of planning.
• Understands and has utilized Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value Techniques, and basic project management skills.
• Significant relevant experience (7 years minimum) in project planning and controlling.
• Advance level expertise in using MS Excel / Word for developing tools, dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholder communications.
• Understanding of Project Management principles with a sound commercial awareness.

People Skills

• Team leadership line management capability with the ability to review the work completed by Junior planners / controllers.
• Experienced in working with UK personnel, with a good grasp of English (both written and spoken).
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Possesses the ability to work to tight deadlines and in changing environments.
• Able to work across a wide portfolio of projects and can manage their time effectively to meet individual project deadlines.
