Senior Specialist Production

1) Job Purpose

Support day to day operations related to Production planning and supply chain of windows Extrusion hardware MIS and other related projects for Eternia.

• Demand Forecasting :

Understanding and analyzing market demand to forecast the production needs accurately.

Balancing the need for sufficient inventory levels to meet customer demand without excessive overstock.

Developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.

Optimizing the utilization of manpower machinery and other resources to meet production goals.

Collaborating with various departments like sales procurement and operations to gather information and align plans.

Utilizing technology such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to streamline and automate production planning processes.

Major Challenges :

Dealing with unexpected events like supplier issues transportation delays or geopolitical factors affecting the supply chain.

Adapting to fluctuations in customer demand and adjusting production plans accordingly.

Managing production within constraints such as limited manpower machine capacity or budget restrictions.

Ensuring that production schedules do not compromise product quality and meeting quality standards.

Striving for continuous improvement in production planning processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Effectively communicating changes in production schedules to various stakeholders and managing expectations.
