We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead / Sr Appian Developer to join our team in Hyderabad. In this contract-to-hire role, you will be a key player in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our critical Appian applications. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) :

Lead and Mentor : Act as a technical leader for a team of Appian developers, providing guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior team members to foster professional growth and ensure high-quality standards.

Troubleshooting & Resolution : Take ownership of complex technical issues related to Appian applications, from initial diagnosis to final resolution. This includes analyzing logs, debugging code, and collaborating with various teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Solution Design & Strategy : Contribute to the design and architecture of new Appian solutions, ensuring that they are robust, scalable, and maintainable. Proactively identify potential technical issues and design strategies to mitigate them.

Collaborate and Communicate : Partner with business analysts, operations, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business processes, and design effective troubleshooting strategies. You will be responsible for communicating technical issues and resolutions clearly to both technical and non-technical and Best Practices : Create and maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and best practices. Your efforts will be crucial in improving the overall troubleshooting process and building a knowledge base for the team.

Production Support : Provide expert technical support during critical production releases and maintenance windows, working closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless deployments.

Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with the latest Appian platform features, industry trends, and best practices in development and technical support.

Qualifications & Talents Needed for Success :

Experience : A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in technical troubleshooting and support, with a strong focus on Appian development and administration.

Appian Expertise : Proven hands-on experience in developing and troubleshooting Appian applications. You must have a strong understanding of the Appian architecture, including SAIL interfaces, Process Models, Tempo, and integrations.

Leadership : Demonstrated previous leadership experience with the ability to guide a team, delegate tasks, and drive projects to completion.

Technical Skills : In-depth knowledge of Appian architecture and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, etc.). Experience with database technologies (SQL, stored procedures) and Appian Cloud / on-premise : Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively is essential.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have) :

• Appian Certifications (e.g., Appian Certified Lead Developer).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Solid understanding of Agile processes and methodologies, with proven experience working in a Scrum framework.
• Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
