Senior Abinitio ETL Developer

About the Role :

We are looking for highly skilled and experienced Senior Ab Initio ETL Developers to join our Data Engineering team.

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale, complex ETL and data warehouse solutions.

The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in Ab Initio, including advanced components like MHub and Query It, along with expertise in data quality, performance tuning, and business rules validation.

This is a strategic, high-impact role where youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data solutions that directly support business-critical applications in the Payments domain.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead end-to-end ETL design and development using Ab Initio for large-scale, high-volume data warehouse applications.
• Work hands-on with Ab Initio Query It and Metadata Hub for metadata-driven development.
• Design, develop, and implement logical and physical data models to support business use cases.
• Architect and build advanced ETL pipelines that ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Translate business requirements into data flows, mappings, and system designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality frameworks, business rules validation, and source-to-target mappings.
• Perform performance tuning, optimization, and high-volume data load management.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance, audit, and governance standards.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior ETL developers.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve data warehouse and ETL processes.
