Job Purpose
To lead hospital / unit operations with a dual focus on operational excellence and business growth. The COO / Unit Head will oversee day-to-day functioning of all clinical and non-clinical departments, ensure compliance with NABH / quality standards, and drive patient footfall and revenue through strategic marketing and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee all hospital operations (clinical, nursing, administrative, billing, HR, IT, facilities).
- Implement SOPs to ensure smooth functioning and compliance with NABH standards.
- Monitor patient care quality, safety standards, and grievance redressal.
- Lead regular performance review meetings with departmental heads.
2. Business Development & Marketing
Design and execute marketing strategies to increase patient inflow, brand visibility, and community engagement.Build corporate tie-ups, TPA / insurance relationships, and referral networks with doctors.Drive digital campaigns, outreach programs, CME events, and health camps.Track ROI on marketing spends and optimize campaigns accordingly.3. Strategic Leadership
Assist top management in long-term planning, expansion, and new service lines.Ensure achievement of revenue, EBITDA, and patient satisfaction targets.Introduce cost-control measures without compromising quality of care.Represent the hospital / unit in public forums, associations, and partner events.4. People & Performance
Mentor and manage departmental HODs and staff.Build a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs / KRAs.Ensure training & development programs are aligned to service excellence.KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

Education : MBA / PGDM (Marketing / Healthcare Management) or equivalent; MHA / MBA preferred.
Experience : 12–18 years in hospital / healthcare operations, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.
Background : Strong exposure to both operations and marketing / business development in healthcare.
