Job description???? Experience Level : 5–12 Years ???? Employment Type : Contract ???? Monthly Budget : 5–7 years' experience → up to ₹1,34,000 7–12 years' experience → up to ₹1,72,000 ???? Position Overview ???? Key Responsibilities Architect, configure, develop, deploy, and maintain Progress OpenEdge RDBMS-based financial systems . Collaborate with IT & Finance teams to gather requirements and execute system implementations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical / system issues; perform enhancements and ensure performance tuning. Conduct system monitoring, patch deployments, and upgrades . Create and maintain detailed documentation (configuration logs, test scripts, user manuals) . ???? Required Qualifications & Experience 5–12 years of hands-on experience with Progress OpenEdge 4GL and RDBMS on Microsoft Windows Server. Proficiency in : Consuming and exposing web services MS Office integration with Progress 4GL Fathom Replication implementation Installing & monitoring Progress RDBMS Strong understanding of financial processes : Financial Reporting Fixed Assets & Depreciation Asset Tracking Experience integrating with Oracle Financials and SEPA banking systems . Excellent documentation and written communication skills . Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira). Knowledge of ITIL principles – Incident & Change Management. Background in Managed Services or Enterprise IT support environments .
