The Workday Digital team at Huron plays a key role in driving digital transformation for clients through comprehensive ERP solutions. As a Workday Finance Consultant, you will lead initiatives to optimize human capital management processes using Workday, leveraging your experience to implement successful solutions across industries. This is a leadership role focused on guiding teams, managing project resources, and driving faster, smoother deployments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as a working pod leader for Workday Launch projects
- Act as the primary point of contact and escalation between North American and India-based project teams
- Lead Workday Finance modules such as P2P and R2R with a focus on faster configuration
- Distribute tasks effectively, aligning team resources with their skills and growth areas
- Provide support and troubleshooting guidance to India-based project team members
- Evaluate deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and functionality
- Deliver clear, constructive feedback to the India project team and relevant North America resources
- Communicate daily progress updates to the North America team
- Lead client interactions, ensuring that requirements are understood and met
- Provide knowledge transfer to less experienced team members and ensure smooth handovers
- Develop and deliver client-ready documents, emails, and communications
- Provide technical support and guidance to the broader Financials Team
Core Qualifications :
8 to 14 years of relevant experience, particularly in Workday FinanceWorkday Finance certification (P2P / R2R) and module-level certifications preferredWorkday Launch Certified and prior Workday Launch project experience preferredStrong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teamsExcellent communication skills for both internal teams and client-facing interactionsStrong problem-solving abilities and ability to drive technical solutionsAbility to work with distributed teams and manage cross-functional projectsSkills Required
