Description
- The Client-Facing Product & Solutions Specialist will be an integral part of the discretionary portfolio management (DPM) team. They assist the Sales, Structuring and Product Management teams, as relevant, in the delivery of financial products and services, as well as financing solutions to clients, where applicable. The Client-Facing Product & Solutions Specialist will also conduct product selection, specifically selecting investment opportunities aligned with market events and customer trends. They are responsible for promoting and explaining the characteristics of their products to Sales and the bank’s clients, working alongside non-client facing product management roles as required.
- Internally, they organize meetings with the salesforce to promote new and existing products. Externally, they will take part in client meetings to detail product opportunities and rationale within the market context. The role encompasses a variety of tasks, for example analyzing and selecting securities that will address clients' needs, working alongside the Sales, Coverage and / or Portfolio Management teams, as relevant, representing the strategy / solution / product at client meetings and educating other client-facing staff on the attributes and benefits of the securities / products they are proposing. The Client-Facing Product & Solutions Specialist may have targets based on portfolio performance, revenue, client interactions and / or other measures.

The Client-Facing Product & Solutions Specialist may be involved in strategic business planning and control, advising on the build of investment products and ensuring alignment with relevant internal stakeholders in adherence to relevant internal policies and external regulation.They will also have oversight on the delivery of their teams and responsibility for improving / streamlining processes.Your skills and experience
More than 10 years’ experience in equity markets in India, including 5 years in managing equity funds / portfolios for clients.Deep understanding of macro-economic factors, dynamics that affect equity markets, especially in the Indian context, and fundamental analysis experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey market views and outlook to clients as well as front office sales people, including preparing pitch books and presentations. High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.Close connect with equity market participants in India including brokers, dealers, fund managers and economists.Manage the Equity product architecture and to be at the forefront in designing new products and solutions as per the needs of market / clients while remaining updated with the latest trends in the industry.Ability to manage several customized portfolios for clients as per their risk return profile and given mandate, simultaneously deliver superior returns over relevant benchmarks in portfolios on a consistent and long term basis.Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and operational and settlement processes.How we’ll support you
