Job Summary :
The Mixologist is responsible for crafting creative, high-quality cocktails and beverages while providing an exceptional guest experience. The role involves beverage innovation, maintaining bar standards, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations, and supporting overall outlet operations.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Beverage Preparation & Service
- Create, mix, and serve classic and signature cocktails with precision and creativity.
- Suggest drink pairings and promote beverage specials to guests.
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages, mocktails, and specialty drinks as per guest preference.
2. Guest Experience
Engage guests with warm, professional service and personalized recommendations.Build rapport and enhance the overall bar experience through storytelling and product knowledge.Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.3. Bar Operations & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar at all times.Monitor stock levels, requisition supplies, and control wastage.Ensure proper storage and rotation of all beverage items.Follow hygiene, health, and safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, or brand-specific norms).4. Product Knowledge & Innovation
Stay updated on current mixology trends, ingredients, and presentation techniques.Experiment and propose new beverage recipes to enhance the menu.Participate in training, tastings, and beverage promotions.5. Teamwork & Compliance
Coordinate effectively with servers, kitchen, and management.Adhere to company SOPs and responsible alcohol service policies.Assist in inventory counts and monthly stock audits.Skills & Qualifications :
Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Bartending Certification preferred.Minimum 1–3 years of experience as Bartender / Mixologist in a reputed restaurant, lounge, or hotel.Strong knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, and cocktail preparation techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Flair, creativity, and passion for beverage craft.Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures.Personality Traits :
