Role Description
As a full-time Sales & Business Development Manager based in Chennai, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding business opportunities and creating a dealers and resellers network. Responsibilities include identifying potential clients, developing and maintaining customer relationships, conducting market research, creating sales strategies, meeting sales targets, and representing the company at industry events. This is an on-site role where you will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction while promoting the company's product portfolio.
Qualifications
- Strong sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline development, and achieving sales targets
- Experience of working with architects and consultants and strong network among the specifiers in building and construction industry is a must
- Experience of working in the building materials industry or hygiene industry and related products is an advantage
- Experience in market research, business development, and customer relationship management
- Proficiency in presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver impactful product demonstrations
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales required
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently, effectively and in an on-site, collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite is preferred
