How you will make an impact ?
The Lead Enterprise Data Architect co-owns the data architecture principles of METRO and aligns them to the enterprise data strategy.
They drive the principles towards business stakeholders to ensure effective establishing of data domains and are on the fore-front of communicating the value of data to the organization to ensure commitment and buy-in to principles and standards.
The role works closely with Enterprise Architecture and Process Excellence along existing landscape and in assessing new initiatives for their fit to data architecture principles.
Understanding of data protection concepts enables a collaborative way of working with CISO and Responsibilities :
- Define and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models;
- Create data architecture frameworks for new platforms and initiatives ;
- Own end-to-end data flow on conceptual and logical level.
- Co-own the data domain model and actively drive its implementation
- Establish standards for data quality, security, and lifecycle management .
- Work with governance teams to define metadata, lineage, and access policies .
- Conduct architecture reviews to ensure consistency and reuse across domains.
- Consult and oversee solution and data architects in relation to adherence to enterprise :
Required key competencies and qualifications :
Bachelors in the domain of computer science.Overall 15+ yrs experience and should have minimum 10+ years of experience in the data field (engineering and data architecting);Expertise in data modeling, storage, and processing patterns (SQL / NoSQL, lakehouse, warehouse)?;Understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e., GDPR);?;Hands-on experience with cloud-native data architectures (e., BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure Synapse);?;Familiarity with ETL / ELT tools, data mesh principles, and streaming technologies (e., Kafka)?;Knowledge of metadata management and cataloging tools (e., Collibra, Alation)?;Experience in senior business stakeholder management?;Degree in data management, information systems, or computer science;?;Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).(ref : hirist.tech)
