Manufacturing Manager- Machine Shop

Your Role :

• Drive and coordinate the execution with (SQDC)Zero deviation in Safety and Quality.
• Ensure alignment of different stakeholders to achieve OTD & shop Utilization.
• Demonstrate appropriate leadership behavior to guide the team and standard work.
• Drive nuclear safety culture awareness in shop floor.
• Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Responsible for departmental operations planning / execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline, ensure maximum efficiency and productivity as well as minimization of delays.
• Leads and coaches team members in a positive manner to maximize their potential and their contributions to key performance goals for the company.
• Assists in production scheduling to ensure optimal utilization of equipment and people for best possible results
• Create awareness among team to raise stop work / Quality Concern on small deviations
• Closely work with Process engineer for any improvement on current manufacturing process / new upcoming projects
• Identify training need of the team based on the skill assessment and new project requirement.
• Control, Organize, monitor production operations as per plan, implement corrective action as necessary. Make recovery plan for delays, implement, and ensure targets agreed are achieved
• Ensure correct allocation of resources to make the Lean concepts deployment a success, make problems visible, and allow problem solving to take place.
• Lead and guide the team to develop & execute objectives for self & others with alignment to short-term & long-term business goals of the organization.
• Mobilize onsite support and new development whenever needed
• Responsible for EHS & 5S in the respective area of the shop
• Responsible for execution cost (estimate Vs actual)
• Active participation in FMEA meetings and ensure all relevant risks are identified and mitigated before execution of process
• Identify training need of the team based on the skill assessment and new project requirement.
